False walls

We’re living in an international marketplace and online companies are operating in it, yet we continue to put up these false walls at a nations borders. Understandably technology rollouts need to be tested, but this relates to volume, not geography.

Battles we fight

Be kinder than necessary, because everyone you meet is fighting some sort of battle

I’m sure someone wise and noble once said this, but I found it on Twitter

Is that hail?

My bro and I were driving to pick up one of his friends and what looked like hail started falling from the sky. It ended up being styrofoam. I must admit, I was slightly disappointed.

Children in homosexual relationships are subject to emotional abuse. Legitimising gay marriage is like legalising child abuse

Wendy Francis is the Queensland Senate Candidate for the ‘Family First’ party of Australia. The above comment was posted via her Twitter and subsequently retracted (via Planet Erland)

‘What are you thinking about?’ You always hated it when I asked that question. ‘It’s a tricky question,’ you used to say…that its an illusion to pretend that we can bridge the gap between your thoughts and mine. For you, every person is like a planet, and two different planets can never become one. Two people together will always be: one plus one. I preferred to think of us a bubbles…because when they touch, they merge into one another, like when two people make love. But now I know what you meant…two people together will always be one plus one.

He believed what was wrong with a lot of music today is that people aren’t singing about anything. If it’s not about a party or sex then it’s about money, and there’s not really much to that.

Ne-Yo discusses what Michael Jackson thought of today’s music (full article can be found here). I have to say, I agree with MJ on this one. Music about getting crunk at the club and bitches doesn’t tickle my fancy AT ALL… unless it’s catchy, then all bets are off!

Why don’t you replace her face with a gorilla’s and then upload it?

I said this to my 12-year old cousin after a schoolmate threatened to report her for uploading a group photo she did not look good in. This has to be the most childish advice I have ever given in my adult life.

I then helped her do this on Photoshop.
